My first of many many visits to this wonderful place. I order one of the specials Fried Chicken & Mac&Cheese & Ooh my gosh it was so good & the portion size you get you will definitely be taking home leftovers. To top it off my husband & I met Sandy who is the most wonderful lady & who also bakes all their pies. Needless to say after our yummy big dinner we decided to try some of her blueberry cheesecake & coconut cream pie & they were the best we have ever had! What a wonderful experience & some of the best food we've ever had! Side note we think Sandy needs a raise because she's PHENOMENAL!
If your out for a ride and are looking for good food at a reasonable price this is the place. Unbelievable home made deserts!!!! Wow
Our first visit. Casual dining and drinks with a view of the lake. Inside and outside seating. Good for couples, families with kids. Prices are slightly more than average. Craft (draft) brew selection is very limited. Service is a little off - hostess did not seat us, the bartender did. Food we had (burger special, artichoke/spinach dip, french dip) was average at best. Burger smothered in Velveeta cheese; too heavy on the artichokes served with soft bread; shaved beef on french dip was tasty and tender, but served with a plain un-toasted hamburger roll. Side of fries was served when we finished our sandwiches. Busy atmosphere. Nice to hear some live music on a Sunday afternoon. Restaurants can be off at times. We will definitely return.
Fun, fun place!!! Wonderful staff.. Often times there is a waiting period, on summer weekends. Good is very, very good. I am not a desert person, but the blueberry cream pie is out of this world
We sat on a covered outdoor deck viewing the beautiful lake. My shrimp and chicken caesar salad were delicious. We were with a group of eleven people and the service was prompt, friendly and attentive. My husband had the Greek salad and pierogies and love them as well. I strongly recommend this place, a little off the beaten trail, but truly worth the find. A gem along the lake. Make sure to learn the legend of the Blue Canoe when you are there!
